My Rating: ❦ ❦ 2/10 Figs
As this was the second book in “The Giver Quartet”, I had thought that there would have been continuing or a linking of “The Giver” in this book, as they are part of the same “series”. However, this did not occur.
This book, although at times had interesting descriptions, was predictable and incomplete. It is fortunate that the book is short in length. Although a little disappointed, and not entirely eager to begin, I do plan on reading the next two books after this (Messenger and Son), in hopes that there will be connections and conclusions that are well worth the read.
